We want IN DEPTH Intelligence to be within reach of as many of the people doing the good work as possible. That is why our rates follow the shape of an organisation and the work it does, and not its headcount.

Every rate includes the whole system and every stream, so your tier follows the shape of your organisation and never the features you get. BREACH and SPLASH are live today, and UNDERCURRENT arrives in November 2026 at no change to your rate.

The Ocean Rate. Organisations whose work serves the Ocean pay half the Standard Rate, permanently, at every tier. IN DEPTH started in the Ocean, it is the least funded frontier of the climate fight, and we care about it deeply. The Standard sets out our reasoning in full.

There is a single onboarding fee, equal to one month at your rate. It covers the work we do to calibrate and build your bespoke system.

You can pay month by month. Or pay for three months and receive four. Or pay for six months and receive nine, with onboarding included.

Your Rate

The four rates run from one person working alone to a whole organisation. Once you apply, we do our due diligence, assess your application against The Standard and place you at the rate that is right for you. Placement follows how your organisation is structured, and it is the same for everyone. If you believe we have read your structure wrong, you are welcome to write to us at apply@in-depth.io and talk it through.

The Founding Cohort

Everyone who joins before 31 October 2026 is part of our Founding Cohort, and uses the system free until that date. We ask for no payment details until you choose to continue, and nothing is owed if you decide it is not for you. To join, apply.
